The legacy version is available for Moodle 4.5 only. Version 5 is a completely new theme, so it needs to be configured from scratch.

Planning an upgrade
While you prepare, keep your site on the latest 4.5 security release.
- Check your hosting, plugins and theme against the Moodle 5.3 requirements.
- Test the upgrade on a copy of your site, including custom styles and integrations.
- Back up the database, moodledata and application files before upgrading the live site.

Common questions
Yes. Moodle 5.3 accepts upgrades from 4.4 or later. Check the server requirements and test your plugins and theme on a staging copy first.
Use the package labelled for Moodle 4.5. A package made for Moodle 5.x may use code that is not available in 4.5.
No. Version 5 is a new theme, not an update of the 4.5 package. Configure it again after you install it. Settings from the older theme do not carry over.
