Alpha gives you two ways to navigate. Choose classic Moodle navigation or a compact sidebar with icons.

Both layouts use the same Alpha pages for your dashboard, courses, calendar, and enrollment. Switch layouts while keeping a consistent look across your site.

I first released Alpha in 2019. Today it shares page and menu builders with Space and XY.

The first Alpha used a floating sidebar. In 2026 I moved the navigation into the page: a familiar Moodle layout, or a rail that collapses to icons.

Rosea plugins included with Alpha

Regular, Commercial, and Extended licenses purchased directly from RoseaThemes include three additional blocks styled to fit Alpha.

These plugins are included with Regular, Commercial, and Extended licenses, but not Solo. They are supplied with purchases made through Lemon Squeezy or directly by invoice from RoseaThemes. MoodleMarket packages contain the Alpha theme only.
