5.2.7

Drag-and-drop question drop zones, dark-mode upload and question labels, assignment bulk actions, and quiz review-option columns (Build 2026100700).

  • Fixed
    • Drag and drop onto image - drop zone size - file-uploader styles no longer apply to question drop zones; the boxes keep the size the question calculates, the same as Boost
    • Drag and drop questions - dark mode - labels on drag-and-drop onto image and into text use dark text on the light group colours
    • File upload drop zone - dark mode - the uploader uses a dark surface and light text instead of a light panel with light text
    • Assignment grading - bulk actions - selecting users shows the full bulk bar; the More menu opens above the bar, with its label and icons
    • Quiz settings - review options - timing columns no longer overlap on a narrow screen; headings stay in their column and extra columns wrap

Profile sections from other plugins, and a SCORM attempt-status crash fix (Build 2026091716).

  • Fixed
    • User profile - plugin sections - sections added by other plugins, such as Learning Tool, Privacy and policies, or the mobile app, show on the profile page again
    • SCORM - attempt status - opening a SCORM activity no longer crashes with a missing attempt-status class; attempts, grades, and grading method render as theme info boxes
  • Improved
    • SCORM - start a new attempt - the control is a switch on a card next to Preview and Enter; the player still reads the same checkbox

Moodle Block Area in the Content Builder, a keyboard focus colour, and menu-builder and screen-reader fixes (Build 2026091714).

    • Content Builder - Moodle Block Area - drop a front-page block region between other snippets, then add native Moodle blocks in that spot
    • Keyboard focus - colour - Focus color and Focus color (dark mode) in top bar colours; an empty field keeps the theme default
  • Fixed
    • Menu builder - sticky actions - Add / Cancel sits above Save changes instead of covering it
    • Dark mode logo - alternative text - the dark-mode logo uses the same alternative text as the light logo and is no longer hidden from screen readers
    • Screen reader text - accesshide - visually hidden labels stay available to screen readers and stay invisible on screen
    • Help icons - click target - each help popover link is a 40×40 px target; the question-mark icon stays 18 px

Bootstrap JavaScript unified with Moodle core, and course-section and combobox-search fixes (Build 2026090500).

  • Improved
    • Bootstrap JavaScript - one shared runtime with Moodle - loader, primary navigation, content builder, course tools, and admin modals no longer ship duplicate Bootstrap JS; all call sites use theme_boost AMD modules
  • Fixed
    • Course sections - multipage link area - on one-section-per-page courses, the stretched-link anchor is limited to the section header so activities are no longer covered
    • Content builder - Bootstrap modals and dropdowns - SCB modules use a bootstrap-bridge to theme_boost; legacy jQuery modal fallbacks and manual .show toggles removed
    • Navigation dropdowns and theme-admin tabs - Dropdown and Tab now load through AMD instead of a dead window.bootstrap check
    • Combobox search - result panel position - user, grade, and group search panels no longer cover the search field
    • Combobox search - picking a result - search input keeps focus while a result is clicked so selection works reliably on touch and scrollable lists

    • Dark mode - Light / Dark / Auto choice persists after refresh on Moodle 5.2

    • Theme renderers - restored missing files that caused fatal include errors on page load
